Fall Basketball Clinics & Leagues
September 14, 2009Check back for information on upcoming basketball clinics for 1st – 3rd Graders that will be held at Ethel Boyes on Mondays and Wednesdays, as well as info. on the Fast Break League for 5th -7th Grade Boys and the GIG (Get In the Gym) League for 5th - 7th Grade girls at Skyline.

May 26, 2009Grades 10-12
May 26th – 28th, from 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
This camp is an important learning opportunity that should not be missed by any current or prospective Skyline basketball player. The entire Skyline coaching staff will be teaching fundamentals, offenses, defensive principles, and much more. If you haven’t already, please email Coach Shippen to let him know that you plan to attend. This camp is free for those attending tournaments or helping with younger kids camps. Otherwise it’s $40.
Grades 1-6
June 2nd-3rd (5:00pm-7:30pm) and June 4th (9:00am-11:30am) Cost: $40
Fundamentals, games, competitions, fun!
All players will receive a nice reversible Grizz jersey.
Grades 7-9
June 8-10th from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. Cost: $40
Fundamentals, competitions, offenses and defenses, and more.
All players will receive a nice reversible Grizz jersey.
Email Coach Ty Shippen with player’s name, grade, and phone number to pre-register. Payment and a signed waiver should be completed at the door. Proceeds from the camps go to the Skyline Boys Basketball Program.

Pocatello Tournament Schedules Are Posted
April 23, 2009Visit www.idahoprepbasketball.com for the complete schedule for the basketball tournament in Pocatello on April 24th and 25th. Each team will play four games, and some games are to be determined depending on the results of the first two or three games.
7th Graders: Coached by Travis Jenkins, 208.520.2662
Friday: 5:45 at Pocatello High School (Court 2); 8:15 at Century High School (Court 2)
Saturday: Schedule depends on Friday’s results–we will play no earlier than 1:15 p.m.
8th Graders: Coached by Kaly Shippen, 757.8872
Friday: 5:45 p.m. at Century High School (Court 1);
Saturday: 1:15 p.m. at Century High School (Court 2); 4:30 p.m. at Hawthorne Middle School; last game will be at either 7:30 or 8:15 p.m. at Hawthorne or Poky

Friday: 7:00 p.m. at Highland High School (Court 1); 9:30 p.m. at Highland High School (Court 1)
Saturday: 2:30 or 3:45 at Highland, then 7:30 p.m. at Poky OR 8:40 at Century

Friday: 5:45 p.m. at Pocatello (Court 1)
Saturday: 10:45 a.m. at Century (Court 2); next two games will be played between 1:15 and 8:40 depending on how they do in the first two.
